BIOGRAPHY

Italian born singer, songwriter, singing teacher and vocal coach, Antonio started studying music and guitar in 1991. He then studied singing at some of the most prestigious music schools in Italy (C.P.M. in Milan, Università della Musica and Saint Louis College of Music in Rome).
In 2011 Antonio graduated with a first class degree in jazz arranging and performance at Licinio Refice Conservatoire of Music (Frosinone, Italy). In February 2018, he gained a distinction for his PGCert in Applied Professional Practice (specialism Vocal Pedagogy) from Cardiff Metropolitan University, in conjunction with Voice Workshop Ltd".
He sings jazz and pop/rock internationally with several bands performing on TV, radio and at numerous gigs, concerts and festivals. So far, Antonio has released 4 albums, 1 of which as a band leader.
Antonio has taught singing since 2000, working with different academies, schools, charities and colleges in Rome and London, whilst leading workshops on different aspects of vocal technique, jazz singing and vocal improvisation.

Antonio's research on The Use of Vocal Improvisation in the Singing Studio has been presented at various conferences in UK, including the Singing Strategy Symposium in Birmingham and the Voice Geek Conference in Colchester. He has written articles for Voice and Speech Review, The Naked Vocalists, and iSing magazine, and runs webinars and workshops for BAST - Become a Singing Teacher.
